This collection has many interesting things in it and here you have my favourite pieces to prove that, which are mainly baggy and see-trough. Seems like that shade of green will be making an appearance these months, giving a subtle military feeling. That reminds me of that time my mother bought me a piece of green cotton fabric so I could sew a bat-like top (seems like she foretold the trend, amazing).

Pictures taken from Screencap Heaven.

Well, if there's one thing I know, it's how to wear the proper clothes (Lisa, Alfred Hitchcock's Rear Window, 1954).

Lusting over...

Image and video hosting by TinyPic
I'm lusting over denim shirts, specially over light ones. An horizontal satchel (I already have a vertical one), similar to those Alexa Chung carries quite often. A bra that looks as cute as Phillip Lim's lingerie. Punk inspired jewerly. Wearing purple lips and jade colored nails. A Canon from the seventies. Cat eye sunglasses. Cool vintage looking t-shirts, just as those sold at modekungen. Printed denim shorts (like those from Topshop). Oh, and pretty sandals that aren't gladiators.

Ah! Y casi olvido: sandalias lindas que no sean gladiadoras.

Basics don't need to be actually 'basic'.

We speak about "The Basic wardrobe" all the time, about those pieces that shouldn't be missing in our closet, those we'd keep, if possible, forever. The thing is, sometimes we think "basic" literally refers to basic. Let me explain myself: That gray T-shirt or white shirt you've been desperately looking for doesn't need to be boring. I found a store I feel pretty much understood that concept, it's calles James Perse and I took some of its designs to show the idea I've just mentioned in images. They all could be considered as "basics", but with an interesting twist (be aware of the details). What do you think of what I've just said? Do you agree? Anyway, enjoy!
