Over the last months, this blog has turned into a celebration of simplicity and it's just not just a fashion blog anymore. Watching others speak about the industry, reading about art and design and reflecting has made me realize that we should give a damn about rules and all that crap. We should just mix, play and have fun, like when we were children. Style is more a word of my preference. Style, to me, is an appropriation* of the garmets and concepts we find in the industry (seasons don't really matter) and in diverse cultures. Also, Jim Jarmusch has been a very influential person in my approach to fashion: in order to develop an style, let's devour everything with excitement (books, magazines, cds, films, photographs). Following that, here you have three cds I've listening a lot these days.
Devendra Banhart - Cripple crow
Belle and Sebastian - Write about love
The morning benders - Big echo

etc ...) by another artist who is in a different context. It would alter the entire meaning entire of the piece and question the notions of originality and authenticity (according to Herber Read's art dictionary).

I went to Doll House to by a Sherri Hill dress 1403 for the best price quoted $450 for my daughter. I was told that Doll House has a registry and that I would be the only one wearing this style dress at my formal. When I arrived at my formal, there were two 2 other girls wearing exactly the same style dress and they also got it from dollhouse I can’t begin to tell you how angry and sick that made me feels. I will not be taking my daughter there for her year 12 formal.
