From uni...

Hey guys, I had classes early today at 10 am until 11 am, then had lunch at 12pm and my History (modern) class starts in like 15 minutes (I'm posting from the University's lab in my faculty), so I have some time to do a little post here. This is a picture I had stored on my photobucket account, they're Ashley Olsen and Kirsten Dunst wearing those called "bandage" skirts I'm dying to get, both paired them with oversized basic tees (ever heard about that phrase thay says that if you go tight on the bottom, the do the opposite on top?, they certainly did) and flats, simple and chic.

Thanks for the lovely feedback, I'll return comments today when i come home at night

It's funny, I really love the bandage skirt look, but I realise that I was technically wearing them when I was kid! I used to wear little stratchy skirts all the time when I was like nine!

i'm dying to get a bandage mini also, but i don't know where. do tell if you find a nice, semi-cheap, one -- thanks :)

I am dying for one of those skirts too, but they didn't arrive yet to the affordable shops here!

I agree with proportion play, covered on top, bare on bottom, etc.

I might need a bandage skirt of my own..

my "bandage skirt" is actually a u-neck dress from american apparel. it's so versatile.. form-fitting enough that i can fix it at any length and it stays put. it's great for layering in all kinds of ways, over pants, under other skirts.. i'd have to get a supersized tee to wear over it though, otherwise i think i'd feel slightly indecent.

p.s.: i love this blog.

I love bandage skirts but I find a lot of places sell them really short or really tight. I'm still looking for one I can really love.

yes yes yes!
and i love the idea of a baggier top so that the tightness of the skirt is balanced out. And i neeed those jil sander flats that ashley has worn to death!

I want a skirt like that so bad, i'm going out of town this weekend so I'm going to look for one just like it. The girls look so chic what a great summer look!!

I never quite hit the bandage skirt bandwagon but these two pictures are quite convincing. You look adorable in the below pictures by the way!
